Katherine Besch Madden

MADDEN, Katherine, Besch of Oakwood, passed away, Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at Miami Valley Hospital, where she became a registered nurse. Katherine was a life member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Dayton Country Club, the Rod and Reel Club and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Wallace C. Madden and siblings Erwin and Elmer and Leona Besch. Katherine is survived by her 2 daughters, Jeanne (Richard W.) Taylor of Oakwood and Sally (Thomas Z.) Hayward, Jr. of Chicago; 5 grandchildren: Rick (Julie) Taylor, Sallie (Bill) Hoppe, Dr. Thomas (Catherine) Hayward III, Wallace (Jennifer) Hayward, and Robert (Elizabeth) Hayward; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Harriett Baker and Mary Lou Ellis. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 25 at 5:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 125 N. Wilkinson St., Dayton. Family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service at the church.
