Katherine Louise Holverstott

HOLVERSTOTT, Katherine Louise (Peterson) age 74, passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2004 following a courageous struggle with cancer. Katherine was born outside Jamestown, OH June 24, 1929 to the late Beatrice L. (Hundley) and Ervin C. Peterson. She is survived by a loving family, her husband of 47 years, James C. Holverstott, and their three daughters, Mary K. Holverstott of Westminster, CO, Jean M. Lyman of Golden, CO, and Margaret A. Holverstott of Dayton, OH. She is also survived by daughter, Janet L. Mosley of Dayton, OH, 5 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Ralph Peterson of Winston-Salem, NC, and Thomas E. and Pat Peterson of Spring Valley, OH; one sister, Barbara J. Peterson of Xenia, OH and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur G. Peterson, and her sister, Juanita R.Varvel. She was employed in the banking industry for many years in Xenia and Dayton, and was a long time member of Immaculate Conception parish where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, March 15, 2004 with Rev. Anthony J. Geraci officiating. Family will receive friends Sunday from 3-6:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. She leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship and dedication to her family and friends.
