Kathryn Eva Romine

ROMINE, Kathryn Eva Wade, age 102, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in Kettering, OH. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She loved to sew, bake, and participate in her family activities. She was a member of the Burnsville Christian Church and an inspiration to her entire family. Karen and Bill Barrett cared for their mother during her later years allowing her to remain in her own home until 101 years of age. She then moved to Kettering, OH where she was loved and treated as the Queen of the Carlyle House. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; parents, Allen and Nora (Hacker) Wade; siblings, Sylvia Khune, Mabel Wendel, Dorothy Hasselbring, Gladys Jackson, Paul and Robert Wade and infant brother, Raymond. She is survived by her children, Karen (Bill) Barrett, Kay (Allen) Daily, Max (Pat) Romine; grandchildren, Doug (Holly), David (Nikki), Dan (Meg), Derek (Hailing) Barrett, Whitney (Nic Miesmer) Romine; great-grandchildren, Rainey (Ronnie), Nathan, Sarah, Jackson, Grace, and Sam Barrett; great-great-grandchild, Paisley. Special thank you to her loving friend, Betty Henry and all her nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends in the mausoleum 9-10AM with Funeral Services beginning at 10AM on Saturday, July 16 at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, IN.
