CLOYD, L. Dennis, age 66, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020. He was a graduate of Cedarville High School in 1973 and received many degrees over his career.

Dennis retired from The Morris Bean Company in January of 2020. Over his long career he worked as a draftsman, engineering manager, and quality manager.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Loyce Cloyd, and brother, James Cloyd.

Dennis was a loving husband to his wife of 44 years, Karen, loving father to his children; Jamie (Brooks) Wilt, Nathan Cloyd, Alicia (Drew) Bowen; and beloved brother to his siblings; David (Barbara), Dale (Carole), Donald, Doug, Diane, Daniel (Beth), Valerie (Ed).

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses Dennis loved life and loved sharing the good news of God's Kingdom with those in his community (jw.org).

The funeral will be held Saturday, March 28 at 3 pm. Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak the funeral will be available to view online.

The family would like to thank all those who have reached out to offer their love and support. We all miss Dennis. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother & friend. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. We know this is a hard time for us all, made more difficult by not being able to be together.

Dennis was always ready to tell a story or joke and he loved to laugh. In addition to the funeral available to view online we will be planning a gathering to remember Dennis this summer when we can be together and share our memories about him. Everyone has a story about Dennis and we'd love to hear them all. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.routsong.com.
