Larry Donald Hatmaker

HATMAKER, Larry D., age 65, of Dayton, passed away at Hospice of Dayton on September 18, 2015. He graduated from Breathitt High School in Jackson, KY. Larry retired from GM where he was a troubleshooter. He was a friend of Bill W. for 34 years. Larry was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his wife of 32 years, his son, and granddaughters. Larry was a loving and kind hearted husband, father, and grandfather (Papaw). He was a practical joker and had a great sense of humor. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Delis and Bertha (nee Grigsby) Hatmaker, his brother Kenneth Hatmaker, sister Vivian Buchanan (nee Hatmaker) and a nephew Phillip. He is survived by his wife, Jo son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Megan (Lees); granddaughters, Emerson and Iris; brother, Fred Hatmaker; sister, Geneva Prater and Lois Sunderman; mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and Richard Cummings; and many other sister and brother-in-law's, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Charlie Morgan Chapel at Miami Cemetery, 6379 Corwin Ave. Corwin, OH 45068. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery in Corwin, OH. The family would like to express our thanks to the wonderful help and care given by Hospice of Dayton.
