Louise Howard

HOWARD, Louise M., age 85, of Centerville, OH (currently Denver, CO), passed away Tuesday July 18, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Howard and parents, Conrad and Sophia Doty. She is survived by one brother, Conrad (Karen) Doty of Groveland, CA; two daughters, Barbara (Dave) Zanini of Denver, CO, Kathy (Marty) Patterson of St. Louis, MO; four sons, David (Heather) Howard of St. Louis, MO, Tom (Joyce) Howard of Columbus, OH, Chuck (Crystel) Howard of Knoxville, TN and Paul (Trista) Howard of Columbus, OH; 10 grandchildren Adam (Kristilynn), Ashley (Jake), Chad (Theresa), Holly (Josh), Jay (Amber), Jill, Kevin, Kyle, Nick (Liz), and Sophie; 4 great grandchildren Emily, Hailey, Keegan and Valyn; 2 nephews Phil (Jan) and Steve (Pam); one niece Diane (Mike). Louise received a Bachelors of Nursing from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH, was a nurse at Presbyterian Hospital in Denver, CO, and completed her career as the Director of Nursing at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton, OH. She was an active member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir. Her greatest joy in life came from attending all her children's and grandchildrens activities and having all the family come together. She was the matriarch and rock of our family who tirelessly gave her care and love, shared her positive wisdom, and sparked joy with all who knew her. Family and friends will celebrate Louises life with a memorial service at Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429, Friday July, 28, 2017, 11:00am. Family will greet friends following the service at the church.
