Maria Carone

CARONE, Maria (Mary), age 90, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015. Maria was born on November 8, 1924 in Bitritto (Bari), Italy to the late Massimiliano and Serafina DeCarlo. She was a member of Holy Angels Church and Christopher Columbus Social Club. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Luigi Carone; brothers, Francesco, Max, and Luigi DeCarlo; brother-in-law, Frank Carone; sister-in-law, Grace Carone; Son-in-law, Ken Hous; and grandson, Brian Hous. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Hous; sons, Don (Connie) Carone, Max (Gail) Carone, Frank (Denyse) Carone and Luigi (Linda) Carone, Jr.; grandchildren, Melissa (Ben) Lusk, Cara (Brendan) Boyle, Kyle (Stefanie) Carone, Luigi, Vincenzo and Max Carone, Jr., Frank (Cristina) Carone, and Danielle (Doug) Carone, Jennifer (Brad) Schilling, and Isabella Carone; great-grandchildren, Ciera Hous; Jack, Ryan, and Brooke Boyle, Domenico Carone, and Nicholas, Alexander, and Samuel Lusk; sister, Guiditta DeCarlo; sister-in-law, Mary DeCarlo; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Laurelwood Senior Living and Hospice of Dayton for the compassionate care they provided for Maria.
