Mary Dinus Horst

HORST, Mary Dinus, age 79, of Washington Twp., previously of Middletown passed away Thursday, January 6, 2005 at Heartland of Centerville. Mary worked at Wright Patterson Flight Surgeons office during WWII and previously at Raymond Bag as an administrative assistant. After marriage to William, they moved to Washington TWP and were charter members of The Church of the Incarnation. She was always interested in missions, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Children’s Medical Center, St. Rita’s School for the Deaf and St. Vincent DePaul. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Horst; brother, James Dinus; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William P. and Loretto Horst; and parents, Emric and Ursula Dinus. She was very devoted and attentive to her loveable surviving two children; son, William J. (Mary Beth) Horst of Washington TWP; and daughter, Patricia Horst of New York City, NY; 5 beautiful grandchildren, Robbie, Amanda, Sean, Patrick and Liam; sister-in-law, Mary Kay Dinus; niece, Suzanne Weimer; and nephew, Jeff Dinus. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 11th at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville. Burial in Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, OH. Family will receive friends Monday from 3-5:00 PM and from 6-8:00PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, with prayers at 9:15 AM Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the Mass.
