Mary Jo E. Dizek

DIZEK, Mary Jo E., age 81, long time resident of Kettering, passed away on May 13, 2018. She was born on February 2, 1937 in Olean, NY to Leo and Ellen Keenan. Mary Jo earned her Bachelors in English from The College of Our Lady of the Elms. She was an avid Dayton Flyers fan and enjoyed knitting, yard work, playing Bingo at Ascension Church, and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Dizek; brothers, Leo and James Keenan; and her parents. She is survived by her children, Ellen (Gary) Junker, Stephen (Kathy) Dizek, and Diane (Quinton) Dressel; and grandchildren, Alyssa, Jacob, Rob, Matthew, and Jenny. The family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering.
