Paul A. Gross

GROSS, Paul A., age 64, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 at his home after a 15 month battle with a Glioblastoma. Paul was surrounded by his loving family with care provided by Hospice of Dayton. Paul was born to Otto and Ruth (nee Oswald) Gross in Dayton, OH. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Duane Baughman. Paul is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah (nee Sparks) Gross; children, Melanie (Michael) Price, Sherrie Gross, and Paul (Julie) Gross II; grandchildren, Robbie and Riley Mason, Sarah, Lucas, and Daniel Price, Marissa Gross, Ruby, Mazie, and Paul A. Gross III; siblings, Michael (Mary) Gross and David (Jean) Gross and many loving nieces and nephews. Paul was an avid golfer and had so many good 'golf' friends that were like 'brothers' to him. Paul worked at General Motor's for 38 years and he loved all of his friends at the Truck & Bus plant. Paul loved The Ohio State University, especially football, and he loved going to the Dayton Dragon's games. Paul's greatest joy was his family especially his nine grandchildren. The family will have visitation on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E Stroop Rd, Dayton OH 45429. A Catholic Mass will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Noon at St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish, 3033 Far Hills Ave. Kettering, OH 45429. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Ave, Dayton, OH 45409. In memory of Paul, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 1335 Dublin Rd.
