Paul H. Hamisch

HAMISCH, Paul H. Sr., age 93, of Dayton, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 17, 2003 at Friendship Village Health Center. Paul was born October 29, 1909 in Saxony, Germany. He immigrated to the United States in 1924 and proudly became a U.S. citizen in 1926. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Alma “Peggy” Hamisch and 2 yr old great-granddaughter, Courtney Emerald Anne Hamisch. He is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Paul H. Hamisch, Jr. and wife Anna Margaret Hamisch of Las Vegas, NV, Robert R. Hamisch and wife Joey K. Hamisch of Englewood, OH, Terry H. Hamisch and wife Pamela J. Hamisch of New Carlisle, OH. 6 grandchildren, Scott B. Hamisch of Midland, OH, Carin P. and husband Mike Costanza of Parkland, FL. Cathy R. and husband Jose Aguilera, El Paso, TX, Amy L. Allen and husband David of Tipp City OH, Kelly A. Reynolds and husband Lewis of Tipp City OH and Terry M. Hamisch and wife Lisa of Tipp city, OH. 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. His sister Charlotte Schwarz of Cincinnati, OH and niece Hildegard Schwarz of Cincinnati, OH. Paul retired as Chief Engineer and inventor, from Monarch Marking-Pitney Bowes in 1974 after 31 years of loyal service. He was a member of the Engineers Club and Optomist Club of Dayton. Paul was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at the Routsong Funeral Home 81 N. Main St., Centerville at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 21, 2003. Burial will be at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, Centerville.
