Robert Lee Debolt

October 19, 1984 — December 31, 2020

DEBOLT, Robert Lee, age 36, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020. Robert was born October 19, 1984 to Elizabeth (DeBolt) Wickham.

He owned and operated DeBolt Flooring, sub-contracting from Toledo to Cincinnati for many area business and builders. Considered “THE BEST IN THE BIZ” by many, there was no job too small or big for Robert, whether it was carpeting to tile, or wood to laminate. Affectionately known as “the carpet slayer” by his loved ones, he took great pride in his work. Robert loved football, rooting on the Bengals every Sunday.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, country music, but most of all, loved spending time with his beloved family and great friends. Robert was a Christian who loved people. He had an infectious smile, kind eyes, and a warm heart that would let you know everything would be okay.

Robert is now in Heaven with his grandmother, Vera DeBolt, and numerous loved ones and friends. He is survived by mom, Elizabeth Wickham; step-dad, Keith Wickham; brother, Justin Corbin; step-sister, Katelyn (Wickham) Dawson; step-grandparents, Dan and Ursula Wickham, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, numerous extended family, and amazing friends.

A celebration of Robert’s life will be held in spring of 2021. The family would like to extend a special thank you for the wonderful help and outpouring of love received by everyone during this time.
