Robert Steven Tobias

TOBIAS, Robert “Steve” Steven, age 53 of Kettering, formerly of the Urbana and Springfield area, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at his residence. Steve graduated from Mechanicsburg High School and attended Urbana University. He was a manager at Goldman’s Department Store and then became a Financial Consultant with AXA-Equitable for 24 years. Steve served as president of NAIFA Dayton and was a Chartered Life Underwriter, served on the Dayton Priority Board, and volunteered for the March of Dimes and the Leukemia Foundation. He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Steven Tobias and father, Donald W. Tobias. Steve is survived by his wife of 27 years, Pamela Marguerite Tobias; son, Robert Matthew (Katharine Marie) Tobias of HI; daughter Amanda Marguerite Tobias of Kettering; grandchildren, Ryan Christopher Tobias, Ashton Thomas Tobias and Haley Howard; mother, Glendine (Roger) Fultz; sister, Diane Anderson; brother, Donald Mark Tobias and many close friends and clients. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, 45429. Family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at the funeral home.
