January 26, 1922 — February 1, 2007

WORTH, Ruth Arlene Iorns passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2007. Born in Lebanon, Ohio in 1922, Ruth moved to Dayton when she was eighteen and lived there until six years ago when she and her husband David moved to Vermont to be near their daughter. David passed away in 2003. Her fondest memories were of her many friends in Dayton and of her church families at Centerville United Methodist and most recently, for many years, at Fairmont Presbyterian. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jeff Connor of Vermont; her grandson and his wife, JD Connor and Lisa and their two children, Henry and Margaret; and her granddaughter and her husband, Meredith and Shawn Quigley, and their three sons, Connor, Rylan and Hayden. She is also survived by her sister Wanda Elizabeth Barrett and two nephews, Kenneth and Robert Barrett. A Graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Robert Wade at David's Cemetery on Wednesday, February 14 at 10:00 AM. A brief reception will be held at Fairmont Presbyterian following the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that Ruth be remembered through contributions to Vermont Respite House, 99 Allen Brook Ln., Williston, Vermont 05495 or Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave, Kettering, Ohio 45429. Condolences and or flowers may be sent to the family via the website at www.routsong.com.
