MARUCA, Sarah Louise, age 78, of Dayton passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
She was born on December 2, 1934 in Dayton to the late Raymond and Norma (Zindorf) Schommer. Sarah graduated from Julienne High School and worked for more than 30 years at E.S. Gallon and Associates. She was a member of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church and loved to go bowling.
Sarah is preceded in death by her loving husband, Anthony P. Maruca, Jr. and brother, Gerald Schommer. She is survived by her children, Anthony P. (Linda Neville) Maruca III, Mark R. (Terri) Maruca and Sarah A. (John) Stoddard; grandchildren, Mark (Rose), Nic (Ashley), Ian (Elizabeth) and Stephanie (J.T.) Devin, Morgan; great-grandchildren, McKinsey, Ray-Ray, Roman, Ethan C., Robert, Layla, Max, Ethan M. and Elliot; many nieces and nephews; and Miley Dog.
Family will greet friends from 11:00-12:30pm on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. Immediately following, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, 2300 S. Smithville Rd., Dayton. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
