Steven E. Weyrich

WEYRICH, Steven Edward, age 69, of Kettering, OH passed away at home on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Steven was born October 20, 1951 in Cincinnati, OH to Edward and Janet (Stephenson) Weyrich. He graduated from Oak Hills High School in 1969 before attending Eastern Kentucky University, where he graduated with a B.A in Business Administration. Steven had a long and successful career with Kroger where he retired from in 2018 after 43 years of service as a store manager. He was a member of the Miamisburg Moose Lodge. Steven loved to travel, attend concerts, and garden. He enjoyed entertaining friends and above all loved spending time with his family, while supporting all of his children’s endeavors.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandi (Weyrich) Kidwell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 ½ years, Kim; sons, Christopher Weyrich, Brian (Valerie) Weyrich; bonus daughter, Marisa Thalman (Jason Thomas); grandchildren, Lillian Weyrich, Nodin Weyrich, and Goji Weyrich.

A celebration of Steven's life will be held Saturday, March 27th from 4pm-7pm at the American Legion Post 598, 5700 Kentshire Dr., Kettering. Special thank you to the staff and nurses at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton for their compassionate care of Steven. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice.
