Tonia R. Davis

Davis, Tonia R., age 43, of Dayton Ohio, passed away in the evening unexpectedly in her home on July 31st. She completed Franklin High School and continued on to complete her cosmetology license. She was employed to various of things but the main jobs she was always up for were doing hair or spending time with children. Tonia was also saved by God during her time with us all. She was also apart of West Carroltons pewee cheer and football organization in which she enjoyed spending time watching her kids cheer as well as participating in any way to help the teams. During her short time with us I also feel it’s important to say she did get participate in some football activities with her son that just began briefly before her passing. Which if you know Tonia, she had always wanted a little football player, this we remember with love. Tonia at her best was a loving friend, a tough single mother who did all that she could with what she had to make ends meet. She was also a nature lover who enjoyed long hikes, being active by tossing the football with her son or just simply being content in her bubble gardening.She was proceeded in death by her father James W. Davis, her mother Paula Hatton, her sister Tiffany Davis, and grandparents Jim and Lily Davis. Tonia is survived by her two daughters;Ashton Nicole Holliday; Breanna Marie Holliday; son, Anthony James Lawrence Holliday. Tonia was the strength to many and will be missed deeply. Family will greet friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm Monday August 9th at the Routsong Funeral home located at 2100 East Stroop Road, Dayton, OH 45429. The funeral services will begin at 1:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home. The burial will take place at 3pm located Woodhill Cemetery, located at 6228 Hamilton Middletown Road. There will also be a gathering all are welcome to come to after the service’s held at Cornerstone Community Church located at, 450 South Main Street, Franklin, OH 45005. The family would like to give a special thanks for all those who have stepped in to support Tonias children in their time of need, it has been beyond helpful through this tough time. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to help support them.
