Violet Hays

HAYS, Violet “Vi” Anna age 86 of Miami Township, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 5, 2007. Vi was a member of Faith Baptist Church for 30 years. She was preceded in death by husband, Harold E. Hays and parents, Willard and Polly Gollihugh. Vi is survived by her children, Byron E. Hays of Brookville, Dennis R. Hays of Dayton and Lois A. Hays of Trotwood; granddaughters, Shannon Haines, and Britten Cooney both of Miamisburg and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville, OH with Rev. Gary Favor officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Montgomery County Board of MR/DD, 5450 Salem Avenue, Dayton, Ohio.
