Violet L. Kinsey

of Washington Township, passed away on January 19, 2002 after an extended illness. Born June 19, 1928, Dayton, Ohio. She is survived by her husband, Paul of Washington Township; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Rob Berner of Washington Township; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Jenny Kinsey of Kettering; three grandchildren, Robert Matthew Berner, II, Austin Douglas Kinsey, and Cameron Richard Kinsey. Other survivors include, sister-in-law, Carolyn Weeks (Gene) of Pleasant Hill, sister, Rosalie Youngerman of Fort White, Florida, brother, John Hinders of Dayton, brother, Robert Hinders of Sioux City, Iowa, brothers, Kenneth, Jerry and Henry Benbow, sister, Ruth and a special niece, Sharon Ewing of Englewood, Ohio, and numerous other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Benbow, step-father, A. Lee Benbow of West Alexandria, Ohio and father, Robert Hinders of Dayton. Many years prior to Vi's illness, she was an Executive Secretary with the Standard Register Company. Vi was also active in numerous organizations in the Miami Valley, namely, Twigs, Progressive Mother's Club of Centerville, a past president of the Centerville Civic Club. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Friends may call at Woodland Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Ave., Wednesday, January 23rd from 10:00 AM until time of memorial service at 11:00 AM. A friend of the family, The Reverend Jack Koepke of St. Paul's Episcopal church will officiate. Intombment Woodland Mausoleum.
