Virginia Dare Bennett

BENNETT, Virginia D., age 86, of Dayton went to her heavenly home on Monday, July 9, 2007 surrounded by her family. She was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church, and Eastern Star. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman G. Bennett, brother, John Shrout and sister Anna Stone. She is survived by her son, Stanley (Sarah) Bennett of Dayton; daughters, Marjorie (John H.) Davis of Beavercreek, Linda Evans of Centerville, Mary Suggs and Connie Tweed, both of Dayton; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Shrout; sisters, Mary Gray and Ruby Slone; numerous nieces and nephews and her church family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Faith Baptist Church, 4215 Indian Ripple Rd., Beavercreek with Rev. Gary Favor officiating. Burial in Forrest Hills Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
