FRY, Warren (Bill) Calvin, age 84 of Bellbrook passed away January 31, 2007. He was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky, and grew up in Kentucky and parts of Ohio. At the age of 18 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and ultimately became a World War II Veteran earning multiple medals and ribbons while with the 8th Armored Division. Bill and Mary Virginia married in 1942 and raised 3 children in Bellbrook. In 1945 he launched his first business, a Standard Oil Sohio gas station and worked there 21 years. Then in 1965, Bill opened and operated Fry’s Auto Part Store in Beavercreek. Joyously at the age of 73, Bill became a Christian, and along with his loving wife, worshipped at the Waynesville Church of Christ for many years. Bill was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Mary Virginia; they shared 62 years together. Also preceding him in death, his daughter Linda; grandson, Jarrod; father Joshua Wilson, beloved step-mother Mary, brother Joe and sister-in-law Sarah; brother Harry and mother Martha Louise. He is survived by his son Ken and daughter-in-law Sue of Sugarcreek Twp; daughter Sharon Virginia of Cincinnati; daughter Martha and son-in-law Glen of Maumee, OH; 16 grandchildren and more than 20 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Ada and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 4th at 3:00PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Bill’s family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private burial will be held in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
