Aflons Maria Hegele

HEGELE, Alfons M., age 99 of Kettering passed away Friday, May 29, 2009 at Kettering Medical Center. After coming to the United States from Germany in 1946, Alfons worked as an Aerospace Engineer at Wright-Patterson AFB for over 28 years. He was also a member of the Dayton Liederkranz Turner Club. Mr. Hegele is survived by his wife of over 69 years, Viktoria L. Hegele (nee Kranzbuehler); children: Heide (Paul) Hemker of New Paris, OH, and Rolf D. (Barbara) Hegele of Spring Valley, OH; grandchildren: Eric (Melissa) Hemker and their children, Andrew, Sophie and Jack, all of Heath, TX, and Mark (Julie) Hemker of Fishers, IN. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
