ACHESON, Aldine E. age 79, of Centerville passed away Monday, June 19, 2006. She had been a physical education teacher in Centerville City Schools. She was an avid tennis player in the Dayton area and once won the Dayton All City Tournament. Aldine was a member of Centerville Classroom Teacher’s Association, GEM Dog Obedience Club, the Dayton Dog Training Club, and the Golden Retriever Rescue Association. She was a 1945 graduate of Fairview High School and graduated from Miami University in 1950. Relatives include her brother and sister-in-law Cyril and Geneta Acheson; sister and brother-in-law Patsy and Jack O’Donnell; sister Vivian Patrie (deceased); nieces and nephews; Steven (deceased) and his wife Sheila Acheson, Connie & John Rhind, Mark & Julie Patrie, Pam & Bill Flannigan, Patti Patrie, Jeffrey & Jill O’Donnel, James & Peggy O’Donnell, John & Sue O’Donnell, Jay & Rochelle O’Donnell, Jill O’Donnell, Joni & Brian Donoher, Greg and Karen Kern, and Kim Kern (deceased) and 17 great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at Routsong Funeral Home 81 N. Main Street, Centerville. Burial at David’s Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
