Walker, Alicia, age 47, of Dayton, OH, died suddenly on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. She was born on July 29, 1979 to Scott and Julie Walker in Dayton, OH. Alicia grew up in West Carrollton, OH and graduated from West Carrollton High School. One of her great joys in life was taking care of animals and she loved her 15 year career at Kettering Animal Hospital. Later in life, she pursued a new passion in finance, finding fulfillment in her work as an accounts payable specialist at Day Air Credit Union and Bridge Credit Union.
Alicia was an avid collector of sneakers - especially Nike and Air Jordans - and lover of luxury cars. Above all her greatest achievement was being a loving and caring mother. To her family Alicia was a caretaker, whether it was her grandparents, or one of her numerous pets, she always put others before herself. Her fierce, caring spirit and infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Scott A. Walker; brother, Rodney Alan Walker; step-mother, Tamela Walker; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Doris Campbell; paternal grandparents, Carroll and Ruth Walker; and many cherished pets, including her beloved dog, Molly.
Alicia is survived by her son, Andre O’Daniel and bonus son, Kaleb Harris; mother, Julie (Mark Willinger) Walker; twin sister, Shannon (Misho) Jovic; sisters, Lindsay (Chris McDonough) Walker, Amy (Jordan) Diller, Monica (Josh) Brunner, Sarah (Phillip Sutphin) Young, and Georgia Walker; step-mom, Stephanie Walker; nieces and nephews, Luka, Ivana, Katija Jovic, Reece Diller, Haylie, Mila, Haston Brunner, Daniel, Lilly, and Cady Sutphin; her emotional support dog, King; and numerous extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 4-6pm, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH 45429, with a service to follow at 6pm.
