Alonzo Sherrow

SHERROW, Alonzo, age 81, of Kettering Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010. Alonzo served in the U.S. Navy for 2 years and later retired from Sun Oil Co. after more than 30 years of service. He was a member of East Dayton Baptist Church and Dayton Family Campers. Alonzo is preceded in death by his parents Leonard Rufus and Nellie Mae Sherrow; and sister Shirley Ann Ping. Alonzo is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jennie Lee; son David (Alison) Sherrow of CO.; daughters Amy Larsen of CA. and Sue (Steve) Yahle of Centerville, OH.; grandchildren Jennifer, Rachael, Justin, Luke, Adam; great-grandchildren Jacob, Jayden and Ava; and sister Betty Jean Wayman of TX. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 5:00-8:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 5, 2010 at 10:00AM also at Routsong Funeral Home. Internment will be at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
