WALTON, Anne Kathleen “Kathy”, age 77, of Beavercreek, OH, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Kathy was born on March 8, 1949, to the late Daniel and Mary (née McColaugh) Kelley, in Puerto Rico. Following her father's tour of duty in Puerto Rico her family relocated to Fairborn, OH, where Kathy grew up alongside her two siblings. She graduated from Fairborn High School, before continuing her education at Wright State University, earning her B.S. in Social Studies. At Wright State while participating in the AV Club, Kathy met her future husband, David Walton, later marrying in 1973. Together, they made their home in Huber Heights, where she began her career as a teacher in Special Education, before eventually settling in Beavercreek. Following the birth of her children, Kathy devoted her time to raising and supporting her family.

Kathy and David were founding members of Charity Baptist Church where they attended until 1997, when they went to Cornerstone Baptist Temple. Kathy always loved crafting and could often be found at Jo-Ann Fabrics. She and David were avid collectors of Aladdin Kerosene Lamps and were involved in many collector conventions over the years. Kathy found joy in Bible study and in exploring the origins of words and their Indo-European roots. Kathy’s quiet and consistent spirit will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Daniel Kelley.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Walton; her children, Benjamin Walton; Matthew (Christine) Walton, Rebekah (David) Dudis, and Bethany (Matthew) Perry; grandchildren, Anarion Dudis, Mirabella Dudis, Raiden Perry, Elric Walton, and Israella Perry; brother, Thomas Kelley; and numerous extended family members. She is also survived by her beloved Shetland sheepdog, Samantha Carter Walton.
