Unexpectedly, Barbara Keith, traveled to the stars in a peony scented ~*POOF*~ of paper dolls, paints, cards, and glitter. Joining her husband of over half a century in her new craft room in the sky, embracing her waiting parents, siblings, family, and friends.
Staring at the trail of stardust she left behind, her daughters, grandson, great grandson, beloved nieces and nephews, best friends, cousins (so many cousins), family, chosen family, and neighbors.
Through her life Barbara’s deep empathy, caring, and giving lead her to many roles. Baker, babysitter, nursing home assistant, volunteer for disabled children, vacation Bible School teacher, Pathfinder/Girl Scout/Boy Scout volunteer, PTA, and school volunteer. She made sets, stages, costumes, paper dolls, dollhouses, and so many other crafts encouraging creativity and curiosity in ALL the young minds around her.
Barbara was the singer of the songs, the keeper of the memories, the storyteller, the craftswoman of cards, the giver of gifts, and the maker and collector of all things tiny. She brought so much love, joy, laughter, music, and humour to all those around her. We cannot imagine this world without her laugh, smile, and hugs, our words failing to express our grief and loss.
“I love you in the morning and in the afternoon, I love you in the evening and underneath the moon…I love you…We’ll see you next time…”
Celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers: Please consider a donation in Barbara’s memory to your local TNR program/animal rescue or your local community art center.
