Betty R. Method

METHOD, Betty Roena (nee Penwell), age 98 of Miamisburg, passed away on Sunday July 5, 2020.

Betty was a Miamisburg High School graduate, born in West Carrollton, on July 16, 1921, to the late Katie (Dreher) and Raymond Penwell. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Method in 1986; daughters, Phyllis Jean Hogan and Carol Shaw; one brother, one sister, one granddaughter, and one great-great-grandson. Betty is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Renner; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends at 11am on Thursday July 16, 2020 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 31 W Whipp Rd, Dayton, OH 45459. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.routsong.com.
