Beverly Ann Williams, aged 58, of Centerville, Ohio passed away in her home on July 14th, 2025. She grew up near Allentown, Pennsylvania then Lexington, Kentucky, attending Henry Clay High School and the University of Kentucky. After starting a family, she completed her education with a medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and specialty training in emergency medicine at Wright State University.
She was a devoted and compassionate doctor, primarily serving the Dayton community at Good Samaritan Hospital, then later through the Kettering Health Network. She mentored countless healthcare professionals throughout her career. After retiring from medicine in 2021, she spent her free time as a life coach, an exuberant mom and grandmother (though she preferred Gigi), a loving wife, and world traveler.
Those who knew Beverly would describe her as one of a kind. She never let the opinions of others stand in the way of her goals and she lived every day with joy, even throughout her cancer treatment. By the end of her life, she had made friends around the world and cherished them all – a testament to her kindness and magnetism. Her generous spirit will live on through all the lives she touched in her 58 years.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Jarek (Tori); daughter, Caroline (Adam); son, Jonathan (Demora); grandson, Samuel; sister, Sharon (Mark); and many loving friends.
In keeping with her wishes, the family will not host a service. To honor her memory, donations can be made to Ellie’s Rainy Day Fund (P.O. Box 340013, Beavercreek, OH 45434) in her name. https://elliesrainydayfund.org/
A special thank you to the many dedicated members of her healthcare team that gave her four extra years of good quality life: Dr. Kelly L. Miller, Dr. Laura B. Vater, Dr. Michael G. House, Dr. Alyssa J. Gans, Dr. Kindra C. Engle, and the many other doctors and nurses who provided exemplary care.
