Brad Allen Bucher

BUCHER, Brad Allen, age 64, of Centerville, passed away on Sunday September 26, 2021. He is survived by his mother, Patricia (Baumer) Purdin, and two brothers Marty Bucher (Connie) of Atlanta GA and Kim Bucher (Molli) of Charlotte NC. Brad was preceded in death by his stepfather Clifford Robert Purdin who raised Brad as his own son.

Brad was a 1975 graduate from Centerville High School and received his associate’s degree from Sinclair Community College. He is a member of Southbrook Christian Church. Brad was in the trucking and logistics field almost his entire career, and recently retired from ATS. He dearly loved the company and its people. Brad loved all things Centerville and was well known for his Carver’s Outings which benefitted CHS. He was a huge Buckeye fan, music lover, and people person. His favorite spot was Siesta Key Florida. Brad will be forever remembered for his infectious smile, generosity, compassion, and loyalty to all he knew.

A memorial service will be held on October 10th, at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 North Main Street, Centerville OH 45459. A gathering of friends will be held from 1pm until service time at 3pm, Pastor Austin McMahan officiating. A live stream will be available to view on Routsong Funeral Home’s channel on www.YouTube.com for those unable to attend. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the charity of your choice. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the many angels at Hospice of Dayton for their loving care and support during Brad’s stay.
