Brian N. Seeley

February 4, 1977 — May 31, 2024

SEELEY, Brian N., age 47, of Centerville, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 31, 2024. Born on February 4, 1977, in Dayton, Brian's journey was one of purpose and passion, marked by his unwavering commitment to family and the community.

As a graduate of Centerville High School, Brian's athletic abilities shined brightly in basketball, and most notably soccer. He received the honorific title of All American for his talents, and his outstanding athleticism paved the way to Wright State University where he earned a full scholarship. In 2001, Brian's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Buckeye Soccer, a testament to his enduring passion for the sport.

Brian's legacy transcends his achievements on the field. He poured his heart into youth sports, dedicating himself to coaching and mentoring young athletes in programs like Centerville Hustle Basketball, Wee Elks, and numerous local soccer organizations. His impact extended far beyond the scoreboard, as he instilled values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship in countless young athletes. Brian was every kid's biggest fan, and his presence on the sidelines was marked by his undeniable support and enthusiastic cheers, making him the loudest supporter in the crowd.

His family, his “Home Team,” held the utmost importance in Brian's life. His love story began over 30 years ago with his high school sweetheart, Jodi Aiken, and it grew into a lifelong partnership sealed in marriage on August 24, 2002. Together, they raised three sons, Ben, Brady, and Beckham, who were the light of his life. Brian's love and devotion to his boys knew no bounds, as he poured countless hours into coaching them, supporting their many activities, and guiding them through life's lessons.

As an avid Ohio State fan, Brian's passion for sports was surpassed only by his love for Jodi, his beloved three boys, parents, brother, family, and friends. Whether cheering on the Buckeyes or spending quality time with family, his infectious enthusiasm and genuine support for others left a lasting mark on all who knew him.

Brian's caring and generous spirit will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community he cherished. Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy of love, humility, encouragement, and unwavering dedication to helping others will continue to inspire generations to come.

He is preceded by his father, Mark Seeley; and father-in-law, Gary Aiken.
