Carol Ann Rismiller

Carol Ann Rismiller, age 92 of Kettering, OH entered into Heaven on April 27, 2026. She was born on December 18, 1933 to parents Russell and Evelyn Tamplin.

Carol was a graduate of Fairmont High School and Miami Jacobs Junior College. Following her education, Carol married Richard William Rismiller on November 2nd, 1956.

Carol was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for over 40 years. She was also a member of Dayton United Lutheran Chorale and the Kettering Choir.

From an early age, Carol had a passion for expressing her creativity. Her many hobbies included sewing, ceramics, counted cross-stitch, doll-making, and many other creative activities. She also loved to play the piano and sing, even continuing to study piano into her 80s.

She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Richard William Rismiller, adopted brother, Charles Tamplin, sister, Lova Lilly, and nephew Steven Lilly. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debra (Jim) Rismiller-Pattan, Ann Rismiller, and Beth (Scott) Rogers; grandsons, Marshall (Katherine) and Dennis (Laura) Rogers; great-grandchildren, Jude, Charlotte, Emma, John, Hilary, Kamila, and Dominik, and niece and nephew, Cathie (Rob) Stinson and Russell Lilly.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00-10:30AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (901 E. Stroop Rd), with a funeral service beginning at 10:30am and a luncheon to follow. Carol will be laid to rest at Beavertown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Hospice of Dayton.
