It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn Marie Clark, who left us on March 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on February 8, 1965, in Dayton, Ohio, Carolyn was a resident of Miamisburg, where she touched the lives of many through her work and warm spirit. A proud graduate of Alter High School in 1982, Carolyn dedicated her professional life to the Montgomery County Board of Elections as a Voter Services Administrator. Her commitment to voter integrity was a significant part of her identity, overseeing nearly 100 elections, reflecting her passion for civic engagement and community service.
Carolyn is survived by her beloved daughters, Danielle (Joshua) Crider of Knoxville and Rhiannon Wisch of Atlanta, and her caring father, Clyde Wisch, and mother, Dorthy Nelson. She is also survived by her sister, Cindy Brann of Yellow Springs. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her. A woman of many interests, Carolyn found joy in gardening, nurturing both herbs and flowers that flourished under her attentive care. Her love of cooking and entertaining brought friends and family together, creating cherished memories filled with laughter. An adventurer at heart, she enjoyed trips to the beach and the thrill of hunting for shark teeth. Known for her thoughtful and compassionate nature, Carolyn had a delightful sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest days. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 3pm, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Cancer Society/">American Cancer Society. Carolyn's spirit will forever remain with us, as we remember her laughter, her kindness, and her unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.
