Catharine A. Sloan

age 94 of Westwood, MA, formerly of Oakwood, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2001. She attended Dennison University and was a graduate of Steele High School, a member of Christ Episcopal Church, and a long time member of the Friday Afternoon Club. Catharine retired from Oakwood Schools as an administrative assistant of Harman Elementary. Preceded in death by her husband, Norton Q. Sloan and a brother, Alfred O. Aulabaugh. Survived by 2 sons, Norton Q. Sloan, Jr. of Ipswich, MA and William A. Sloan of Alliance, OH; 4 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 1 great granddaughter; and a sister, Sarah J. Aulabaugh of Oakwood. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday in the Christ Episcopal Church, 20 W. First St., Dayton. Private burial.
