Charlotte Ann Toller, age 89, of Kettering, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Charlotte was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 25, 1936 to the late Blanche and Theodore Neuner and became the youngest of seven siblings. Charlotte attended Roosevelt High School where she excelled in track and was a part of the synchronized swimming team.
Following high school, Charlotte worked at NCR until she married Alvin Toller in 1960. Charlotte and Al were happily married for 60 years until Al’s passing in 2020.
Charlotte was heavily involved in her community. She was a member of the University of Dayton Mother’s Club for over 15 years. Not only was Charlotte a longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, but over the years she made and sent thousands of rosaries to missionaries in Central and South America. Charlotte also fondly spent many years as an Avon Lady. Her and Al spent 28 winters in Cocoa Beach, FL with some of their closest friends.
Charlotte loved her family and friends more than anything. She was known to slip a twenty dollar bill in a miniature envelope into your hand on your way out the door, and never missed a chance to make her special cookies for those around her. On any given day, you could find Charlotte on her patio watching over the birds, deer, and squirrels who frequented her yard and all received a silly name from her. Charlotte and Al spent many years watching the Reds on TV while doing a puzzle and enjoying a bowl of ice cream before bed. Charlotte is remembered by many for her long hugs and goodbye kisses.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, her parents, sister, and four brothers. She is survived by her children Susan Rudolph, Tony Toller, and Steve Toller; grandchildren Sophia, Phoebe, & Jack Rudolph, Isabell Toller; brother Jimmy (Joyce) Neuner, sister-in-law Norma Toller; as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
