Vradelis, Chrisoula Davis, “Chris”, age 95 of Oakwood, Ohio, passed away at St. Leonard’s nursing home on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
She attended Oakwood High School and Western College for Women. After working at Standard Register out of college, she then married and spent her time as a devoted homemaker, wife, and mother. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, where she participated in Philoptochos Society.
She was involved in the Junior League of Dayton. During high school, she was co-captain of the legendary Oakwood High girls field hockey team. She was an avid tennis player until her early 90s.
She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore J Vradelis, her parents, her brothers Nick Davis and Pete Davis. She is survived by her sister Mary McDonald, her three sons, James, Nick, and Tom Vradelis and their wives and her 6 grandchildren, Chrisoula, Jenny, Hali, Sophie, Helen, and Katina. She is also survived by her nephews John and Ernie Davis, Nick Davis, and Diana Davis.
Visitation will be at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church at 9:00 AM on March 9th, 2026. The funeral will follow at 10:00 and will be officiated by Father Anthony Cook. The burial is at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 500 Belmonte Park N, Dayton, Ohio 45405.
