Christine Marie Bausman

Christine Marie Bausman, age 58, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

A Dayton native, Christine was born on November 22, 1966, to Joe and Maryann Bausman. She graduated from Beavercreek High School and continued her education at Sinclair Community College, which prepared her for her work as a medical assistant. She was also a member of Kirkmont Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir and played in the bell choir. Christine enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to the beaches of Florida, and was a member of the Junior League of Dayton. She was a warm and caring person, who endured her recent health issues with courage and optimism.

Christine is survived by her parents, Joe and Maryann Bausman; her brother, David Bausman; and aunts and uncles, Ruth Wolfe, Rick Wolfe and Ken Bausman.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the team at Kettering Hospital and from PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Miamisburg for the care they provided.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Routsong Funeral Home in Kettering (2100 E. Stroop Rd.) on Friday, August 15, at 10:30am to share memories and express condolences. The funeral service will follow at 11:30am. Christine will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. A luncheon will follow at Dayton Country Club (555 Kramer Rd.).
