Cole M. Wolf

WOLF, Cole M., age 31, of Miamisburg, OH, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026. Cole was born on August 19, 1994 to Mitch and Chris (Botting), in Dayton, OH. He grew up in Miamisburg and graduated from Miamisburg High School, class of 2013. Cole continued his education at Sinclair Community College before beginning his career with Kodak in Kettering.

Cole was the most gentle, kindhearted, selfless person. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family or friends without hesitation. His soft presence was always felt, and he carried the most comforting energy. He had a special love for animals, and they always seemed to sense his gentle presence. In addition to his trusting character, he never had a bad thing to say about anyone or anything. Learning came natural to him; his abilities to soak up a wide variety of knowledge were impressive and he developed a deep expertise in the things he loved.

He was a technology enthusiast who loved gaming, with a vast collection of retro systems and memorabilia. He enjoyed the challenge of building his PC, as well as assembling an extensive collection of Legos. He was an avid record collector and audiophile who took great joy in growing his vinyl collection. Beyond the items he loved to build and collect, Cole also loved food. There wasn’t a dish or dessert he wasn’t willing to try. When it came to his favorite meal, it often came down to whatever Mom was cooking, and it was always accompanied by a sweat treat.

When Cole wasn’t following one of his many passions, he loved spending time with his brothers. He was always up for hanging out or helping out with a project, whether it was moving furniture, fixing tech, or passing a wrench. Cole made time for others because it was important to him to support and care for the people he loved most.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Grace Wolf, and William Botting.

Cole is survived by his parents, Mitch and Chris Wolf; brothers, Lee (Rachel) Wolf, Nathan (Melissa) Wolf, and Drew (Emily Ausborn) Wolf; grandmother, Paula Botting; niece, Alana Wolf; nephews, Miles and Nolan Wolf; uncles, Chuck (Linda) Wolf, Dave (Joanne) Wolf, Andy (Diane) Botting, and Matt (Jennie) Botting; aunts, Liz (Keith) Hanson and Amy Botting; cousins, Val, Buck, Krista, David, Lauren, Zach, Rachel, Jeremiah, Tori, Anthony, Hannah, Abby, Rebecca, and Eliza; and numerous extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 11-1pm on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH 45429, with a funeral service to follow at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to SICSA.
