Consuelo Martinez

MARTINEZ, Consuelo, age 43, of Lincoln, NE passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019. Consuelo was born on December 13, 1975, to José and Adela Martínez, in Lincoln. She graduated from Lincoln HS and worked for several years at Bryan LGH East. Consuelo lived life to the fullest and always did her best to spread joy to every person she encountered. She never met a stranger and was always known for her great hugs. In her free time she loved to sing and dance, but her favorite activity was to spend time with her beloved family. Over the last several years she proved that she was also a strong fighter as she faced her Leukemia with strength and grace. She was always thankful to those who provided her with excellent care. Consuelo will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Consuelo is survived by her parents, José and Adela Martínez; sisters Rebecca (Chris) Philson and Victoria (Rick) Dodds; nephews, Christian Daniel Philson, Gabriel Philson, Ryan Dodds; and niece, Adeline Dodds.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, November 8 at College View Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4801 Prescott Ave, Lincoln, NE 68506.
