Corina Leal Mosher

MOSHER, Corina, age 59, of Oakwood, formerly Bellbrook, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, April 4, 2023. She was born June 30, 1963 in Findlay, Ohio; the daughter of José Ricardo and Ofelia Josefina Leal. Corina is preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, John; children, Andrew (Kameron) Mosher, Caleb (Blenn) Mosher, Carolina (Sean) MacGowan, and David Mosher; grandchildren, Eleanor, Ofelia, and Evelyn; brothers, Rick (Marta) Leal, Michael (Silvia) Leal, and Daniel (Janet) Leal; father, José (Amanda) Leal, and their children, Noah and Isabella; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Corina graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting where she met her husband, John. Corina and John worked in full-time church ministry. Her passion to help others inspired her to earn a Master of Pastoral Clinical Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. Her Christian faith led her to a life of service, joy, and gratitude that she shared with others. She was a guidance counselor at Franklin City Schools for many years. Corina loved to cook, garden, and spend time at the beach. Corina’s most cherished moments were spent with her loving family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Reverie Dayton, 9095 Washington Church Rd, Miamisburg, OH 45342. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 2:00PM at Reverie Dayton. Family and friends may visit from 1:00PM until the time of service. Corina will be laid to rest at David’s Cemetery. A reception will follow the committal service at David’s Cemetery at Reverie Dayton, all are invited.
