In Loving Memory of Cynthia Arrico
Cynthia Greenlee Arrico, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2023, at Hospice of Dayton. She was 74 years old and resided in Centerville, Ohio.
Cindy was born on April 10, 1949 to Betty and Charlie Greenlee, and grew up in Cincinnati, forming lifelong friendships and memories. During her time at Western Hills High School, Cindy became a proud member of the Sub Deb sorority, where she thrived in the spirit of sisterhood and community.
Following her passion for learning, Cindy attended the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 1971 as a distinguished alumna of the Kappa Delta sorority.
Cindy possessed a kind and compassionate spirit. She dedicated much of her time to volunteering and giving back to her community. Cindy was an active member of Fairhaven Church, where her faith and service inspired those around her. She also lent her talents and time to organizations such as the Dayton Art Institute, TWIGS, and the Girl Scouts.
Cindy had an outgoing personality and knew no strangers. Nothing brought her more joy than spending precious moments with her family and making friends everywhere she went, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. She was beloved by many.
Cindy will forever be remembered as a loving wife to her devoted husband, William Arrico. Her unconditional love and guidance will live on through her daughters, Darcy (Matt) Schmidt, Betsy (Chris) Tahy, and Casey (Justin) McClain. Cindy's legacy will also be carried forward by her beloved grandchildren, Brady Arrico, Mallory Tahy, Audrey McClain, and Everett McClain.
During this difficult time, the family would like to express their deep gratitude to the Hospice of Dayton and Dr. Melissa Butler for their kindness and exceptional care provided to Cindy. They would also like to extend heartfelt appreciation to all of Cindy's close friends and family for their unwavering love and support.
A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at Fairhaven Church Friday November 10, 2023 at 11am. In her memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to one of Cindy's preferred organizations or a charity of your choice.
