Darlene J. Snyder, (Hetzler), age 94, from Tipp City, Ohio, formerly from Kettering, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Snyder, son, Ricky L Cecil, brother, Russell H. Hetzler. and her beloved beagle, Brownie.

Darlene was born in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Ruth and Harold Hetzler. She is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Steve) Null. Nieces and Nephews; Laura, Ruthann, Elmer, Julie, John (Betty), Mike (Angela), Melissa, Michelle, Linda (Randy) and many more. Many Great to Great-Great-Great Nieces and Nephews. Life-long friend and former sister-in-law, Sandra (Jim). Close friends; Jeff (Toni) and Wayne (Candi).

She was formerly active in the Red Hat Society "Red Hatters", Kettering and Beavercreek Senior Center, Marine Corp League Auxiliary, Purple Heart Auxiliary, Normandy United Methodist Church, served as secretary for The State of Ohio Korean War Memorial and All Veterans Walkway and Legacy Member-Exclusive Fraternity of Honor-The Chosen Few.

Family visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00am and will receive friends from 11:00am-1:00pm on Monday, August 17, 2026 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering, Ohio, 45429. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm, with Pastor David Tackett officiating. Followed by Burial in David's Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Road, Kettering, Ohio 45429.
