MAHLE, David C., of Oakwood, passed away, Thursday, May 22, 2003. David graduated from Chaminade H.S. and the University of Dayton. He was a veteran of the United States Army. David was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and the Accountancy Board of Ohio. He was a retired CPA from Mahle, Wack, Zaidain & Co. PLL. David was the past president & treasurer of Rod & Reel Fishing Club and current president of Fur Fin & Feather Club of Oakwood. Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Grace Mahle. Survived by wife, Constance; daughter & son-in-law, Jean and Steve Ireland of Oakwood; grandchildren, David Rey and Steven Patrick Ireland; sisters, Margaret and husband, Donald Macpherson, Ruth and husband, Alan Lindsey Jr., Mary Elaine and husband, Richard Monnig, Judith and husband, Carl Toland. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:00 AM, Saturday, May 24, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 218 K. St., Dayton, with Father Joseph Goetz officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will greet friends Friday from 6-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave., Oakwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Rod & Reel Fishing Club, 2190 Lake Glen Ct., Centerville, OH 45459.
