EAGAN, David, age 60, of Tipp City, passed away on July 2, 2023. David Eagan, beloved father, grandfather, brother, nephew, son, friend and father to all, embarked on his next great adventure on July 2, 2023. He entered this world on September 18, 1962 in Dayton, OH.
He was preceded in death by his father Paul Thomas Eagan Jr., his mother Constance Lou Webb, his stepmother Cheryl Eagan, his grandparents Helen (Leon) Kozlowski, and Betty (Paul) Eagan. He is survived by his children Andrew (Kristin) Eagan, Kellie Eagan, Logan (Meg) Eagan; his brother Thomas Eagan; his uncle Leon Kozlowski; his grandchildren Ivy-mai Davis, Maddox Eagan, and Adalynne Eagan; his sister Beth (Chris) Weaver; his nieces and nephews Christopher (Jessica) Eagan, Stephanie (Adam) Yingling, Bryce (Kristen) Weaver, Monica (Chris) Rusden; his great-nieces and nephews Posey, Skylar, Izy, Gavin, and Dylan.
He is a 1980 graduate of Northmont High School. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army in the Cold War. He was always very proud that he was stationed in Germany and part of the Pershing 1 and Pershing 2 missle project. Afterwards he proudly raised 3 children by himself and spent every penny he had to make memories with them in places such as Kittyhawk and Okrakoke Island in the Outer Banks and Red River Gorge Kentucky and many more. He was a commercial driver for over 35 years including at one time a limo driver for stars such as Charleton Heston, Prince, Jake the Snake Roberts and more. Most of his career was spent in the Dayton, Ohio Area. David loved the great outdoors, traveling, finding new places to explore, and spent many hours documenting his adventures. He also spent many hours keeping in touch with family and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed traveling with friends and family throughout the United States and overseas. He loved his family with all his heart and was so thrilled when the grandchildren and great-nieces and nephews arrived. He had a special gift of just being there for you no matter what. If you called him for advice on what battery brand was best for your car he would find the best one, buy it and drive it 45 min to you.
