TURNER, David, age 64, of Huber Heights, Ohio unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2020. Deeply loved and cherish husband, dad, papaw, brother, and friend.
He was born June 13, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio. Dave was a sign technician for the past 30 years. Dave had a passion for music, playing guitar, and sharing the gospel through preaching. He spent many years traveling with the Lighthouse Express sharing his love for the Lord through writing music. Dave lived the life he preached, he loved the Lord and he loved his family. He had a contagious smile and had a great sense of humor. His wife and children were the center of his world.
He was proceeded in death by his parents DY Lynwood Turner and Aretta (Fugate) Turner; brother, Glenn Turner; sister, Marie (Turner) Herzog; his late wife, Conie Turner; brother-in-law, Terry Orill; and father-in-law, George Falin and mother-in-law, Burnell (Morris) Chapman.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Michelle (Falin) Turner; his son, David Tyler (Jamie) Turner; daughter, Cheyanna Turner; grandson’s, Jace, Isaac, and Jaxon David “JD” Turner; sisters, Gloria (John) Workman, Linda Orill, and Almeda (Keith) Phipps; special nephews, Joey (Lisa) Herzog, Kevin (Stephanie) Herzog, and Josh Phipps; his “Boys” dogs, Kash and Rumor; a host of many nieces, nephews, friends, and church family.
Pastor Garnell Crawford will be officiating the service with music from David’s family the Lighthouse Express. As David always said, “I’ll see you in glory.”
