Donald J. Furl
September 14, 1929 — June 28, 2002
, age 72, of Kettering, passed away Friday, June 28, 2002. He was a member of the Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church, Alpha Lodge F & AM, A.A.S.R. Valley of Dayton, and Antioch Temple. Donald served in the Army Infantry in Germany during WWII. Preceded in death by his first wife, Roberta Furl in 1996; second wife, Pat Furl in 2001. Survived by his 2 daughters, Cheryl and Gary Wolverton of Sidney; daughter, Darlene and Doug Queen of Kettering; grandchild, Bethany Coddington. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 2 at 11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering. Burial Valley View Cemetery, Xenia. Family will greet friends at the funeral home from 5:30 - 7:30 PM, Monday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions, may be made to American Cancer Society, Montgomery County Unit, 40 S. Perry St., Suite 120 Dayton, OH 45402-1429, or Hospice of Dayton, P.O. Box 3509 Dayton, OH 45401-3509.
