Donetta May Rineer

RINEER, Donetta May, age 87, of Centerville, OH passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025. She was born to Mary Margaret Hilton and Donovan Jenkins in Martins Ferry, OH on November 25, 1938. Donetta attended Southbrook Christian Church where she was active in various ministries. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who spent much of her time volunteering in the community, including Good Neighbor House and her church. Donetta lived a life of faithfulness and steadfast love for Christ. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bergh Jenkins; and daughter-in-law, Amy Spears Wilson.

Donetta is survived by her husband, Donald Rineer; children, Karen (Michael) Ewald, Carol Evans, David Wilson, and Linda (Dave) Litteral; grandchildren, Carl (Kallie) Ewald, Caleb (Sarah) Ewald, Claire (Brian Mulcahy) Ewald, Tara Gelhaus, and Andrew (Rachel) Evans; great-grandchildren, Caiden, Carter, Jackson, Madilynn, Daniel, Jacob, Joseph and Charlie; step-children, Donald (Maria) Rineer and Denise (Don) Ritner; and step-grandchildren, Jacob, Abby and Alyssa; and numerous extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 10am- 12pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Southbrook Christian Church Reverie, 9095 Washington Church Rd., Miamisburg, OH 45342. A memorial service will follow at 12pm. A private inurnment will be held at Centerville – Washington Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Good Neighbor House.
