Douglas M. Plantz

PLANTZ, Douglas M., age 63, of Kettering passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018. Douglas was born on September 11, 1955 to George and Mary Plantz in Springfield, OH.

He was a member of Marshall Road Church of God. Douglas graduated from Springfield North Eastern High School in 1973, and earned his Associates Degree from Dayton School of Practical Nursing Arts. He worked for Heartland of Kettering.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents. Douglas is survived by his wife of 14 years, Denise L. Scholz; children, Mike Scholz of Dayton, Ken (Beth) Plantz of Colorado, Eddie (Abi) Scholz of Centerville, Jeff (Heather) Plantz of New York; brother, George (Dottie) Plantz of Springfield; sister, Mary Hoberty of South Vienna; brother, Ted (Alice) Plantz of Springfield; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Family will greet friends from 10-11am on Friday, November 16 at Marshall Road First Church of God, 4400 Marshall Rd, Dayton, OH 45429. Funeral Service will begin at 11. Burial in Asbury Chapel Cemetery, South Vienna, OH 45369.
