Edward A. Diano

DIANO, Edward A., age 87, of Centerville, OH passed away on Friday September 12, 2025. Ed was born on October 31, 1937, to the late Anthony and Dorothy Diano, in Canton, OH. He was a 22-year veteran of the U.S Army where he served in Vietnam. Following his retirement from the Army he served as a volunteer firefighter and fire inspector for Miami Township. Ed was an avid fisherman. He was a loving husband and father, and a doting grandfather to his two grandsons. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ed is preceded in death by his grandson, Vinny Diano; and sister, Alvira Taylor.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Christal Diano; son, Mike (Jeannine) Diano; grandson, Lance Diano; sisters, Betty (John) Espir and Joanne (Ron) Townsend; and endearing nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH 45429, with a reception to follow.
