Elizabeth Rose Miles

Miles, Elizabeth, R., age 91, of Centerville passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Heartland of Centerville. Born in Milwaukee, WI to David LeTourneau and Catherine Cotter LeTourneau. Elizabeth was a graduate of St. John's High School in 1940. She spent much of her life in California, living in Covina, Riverside and retired to Vista, where she enjoyed volunteering with the city government and was a member and past president of the Vista Kiwanas and Women's Club. Elizabeth was a vibrant, funny, independent person who especially loved dogs and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Bill. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years William F. Miles; and sister Dolores LeTourneau Root. She is survived by nieces Catherine (Dale) Ruple of Medina, OH, Debby Root of Centerville, OH, Sandra (Jim) Tucker of Dublin, OH, Jerilynne (Dale) Johnson of Glendora, CA, Betty Anne Williams of Westminster, CA and Yvonne Geisel of North Pole, AK; nephew Robert (Susie) Root of Pittsburgh, PA; and other nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Friday, January 11 at St. Francis of Assissi, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville.
